The Game Triathlon
It seems that people and groups of friends seem to always bored and want something to do, but are rarely willing to do anything outside of the ordinary. This post was made for those of you who want to do something very fun and exciting with your friends and are willing to make it so everyone has a great time. Don’t worry, it isn’t necessarily as extreme as it sounds. All you need to do is step up and be the one to coordinate these fun activities. The entire game has been split up into 3 categories based off of difficulty and the level of commitment you and your group of friends have to the game. Mix and match anything in this whole list to create your own unique experience.
What you need:
6+ People. Break up into even teams of at least 3.
(optional) Judges. All mini games requiring judges are marked with a *.
4+ participants. Participate as individuals.
At least 2 friends (Don’t have 2 friends? Read: How to be fearless in dealing with people and you’ll have no problem making some 😉 )
What is it?
The Game Triathlon is a customizable “cool” and exciting competition to have with your friends no matter what age you are. All you have to do is put together some of these little mini games, and the good news is you can change it to whatever style you and your friends have. Each Triathlon should have at least 3 mini games in it. Whenever a mini game is won that person or team get’s one point. We’ve broken some activities, rules, and guidelines into 3 different categories which make the “base game.” Depending on difficulty and number of mini games chosen, games can last anywhere from 2 hours to several days, or more. If you’re feeling creative you can play it your own way as well.
What happens if you win/lose?
Put together a pool for a cash prize.
Divide it up for first second and third This will really get any “sticks in the mud” that you may have in your group of friends to participate. If there’s anything that we learn in life is that cash is a as good of a motivator as any. It will also cause everyone to possibly become really competitive over the games.
Extra: We aren’t encouraging friendly bets between friends, but we’re not discouraging them either
Loser has to do something like wash everyone’s car, or buy lunch or whatever you decide.
Bragging rights are always a worthwhile prize. Can you taste the victory yet?
Activities and Games
Now down to the really fun part. The stuff that makes up what you’re going to be doing. This is made for you to improve upon, so we’d love to hear the ways that you’re playing. Pick at least 3 activities from the list that we have again divided up into 3 categories based off of difficulty and the level of commitment you and your group of friends have to the game.
